Oke, I see, thanks.
You can't have 2 <Head> </head> in one sourche, I know.
Bute when I make an extra in my header or footer, frotnpage makes an extra <htm> </html> . Do I have to skip this or not ?

dont use programs like frontpage and dreamveawer to things like this.. frontpage 2002/2003 dv mx/mx2004 will work a little bit, but theres 99% chance of getting your files messed up anuways..

use a simple text editor like notepad or buy a more powerful editor like ultraedit, or if you got very much money, buy visual studio .net 2003.. i really recommend the last one as there is integrated support for ASP, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, VB, JS, VB.Net, C# and so on.. made by the creators of ASP and VB.. its the best.. but DONT enter the design mode with an asp page which you have laid alot of work in the script.. that will simply screw it up.. create ALL missing tags(tags that is in a Response.Write statement or in another file) and reformat everything..

I think both frontpage and dreamweaver have options to turn off "fixing" html.

I use FP2004 for the forum site I'm developing. It's a different breed than previous versions of FP - much more oriented to developers as opposed to newbies. Don't have any problem with wwf, but about the only automatic option I have turned on is Intellisense. Visual Studio initially gave me problems with format until I turned off some things.

FP is a great site admin tool - move a file, it changes all the links to it; check for broken links; blah, blah, blah. All under one wrapper. One of it's good features is that you can assign other editors for different file types (e.g. a css editor, a js editor, etc) and still get the fp admin capabilities.

Never use fp's built-in data base stuff!

A good free editor is Html-Kit - big support community producing mods and add-ons like crazy. Use it for unix sites, but also have done some asp stuff in it.
