Thks dpyers

We have several website  under the inetpub\wwwroot directory. Is this the case you mentioned several domains under an application pool? We didn't encounter any hang before and we suspected the hang was happened since we added different websites to the inetpub directory.

We used EV1 hosting and no idea on hsphere.

All domains go the the default application pool automatically. HSphere doesn't recognise application pools

We change problematic or high traffic/resource sites to different application pools manually.
