Depends what aerial you have, either buy a booster aerial for your tuner card or for your tv and it might work.

Thanks for everyones help. I have narrowed it down to a few. They are

USB-Live
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_usblive.html

I am not sure which is best based on tradeoff between quality and expence. Some help please?

All i want it really is to record from tv/videos and maybe watch tv.
