This might seem like a stupid question.. (but you might be getting used to those out of me by now too..)
BUT.. I have noticed a FEW of the members here must be KIDS! Now I am not OLD by my standards, only 35, but Scotty (totally funny guy btw) he mentioned he didn't have a checking account cause he was only a KID. (unless he was joking?!) |
I'm 38 and started using computers when I was 14. Started with BASIC and worked my way up. Now mostly do stats using SPSS but am learning ASP thanks to this site and Drew's.
I usually work as a health educator and a few years back registered my own domain and recently popped up these forums there. I currently live on a little tiny island and do computer training (mostly education) for young and old alike.
Young being 5+ and old being 75+. It's fun, I enjoy it and my rates are really, really flexible given the population I work with and I see many, many young people (range 3 month to 15 years, n = 46).
All of them use computers well depending on their ages.
The oldies too.
It's those my age I see struggling.
Egad.
