Why is this done that way... All other major scripts-selling sites do it through the main URL and not what's after the .com... just common sense...

Its usually done by domain name only. This is the first time I have ever bought a script/app online and have been restricted to the directory of the initial installation.

Maybe changing the name of the license from Premium Edition Single Site Brand Free License to Premium Edition Single Directory Brand Free License might make things a bit more clear to first time buyers.

Bruce, any new comment about it? I bought the NewsPad Single Site License and I’m planning to change hosting provider and maybe reorganize directories. Thanks

If you have licensing questions then these need to be sent to sales and accounts, as the lawyers don't allow us to answer licensing questions on public forums as many times cases are taken on an individual biases. Publicly from a legal stand point we are only allowed to direct you to what is in the license contract.
