email component types

Hi Great-Master-Of-Web Wiz:

I'm wondering if you would consider adding SoftArtisan's SA-File-Up email component to your list of usable components for the forum? It works almost identical to ServerObjects' AspMail object. It uses all the same methods/properties and the only difference is you would change this line:

Set objAspMail = Server.CreateObject("SMTPsvg.Mailer") to:

Set objSAmail = Server.CreateObject("SoftArtisans.SMTPMail")

You are correct in that SA-SMTPmail can be purchased separately from SA-FileUp. I hadn't realized that.

However, SA-FileUp does *include* the SA-SMTPmail object.

I'm glad your friend has benchmarked this component against the other popular ones. Hopefully the Master-of-Web WizForum will choose to add support for SA-SMTPmail to the next version of this great forum system.
