Currently we have our forums integrated with our AD, but in setting that up the directions say to check intergrated on IIS security. Here are two issues that have come up with that:
1) In internet explorer the users must sign in using username@server(xxxx.com). While in Firefox you can just use the username. This is problematic since many of our users are not tech savy, and for our intranet, they just input their username (intranet is set to basic in IIS).
2) It doesn't remember username and password, everytime we log in we just re-enter the username and password (or just password in IE). I tried setting the settings to basic, which is how our intranet is, and it saves the username and password fine in Firefox, but in IE you once again cannot enter just username for the forums, nor can you enter username@server(xxx.com), instead the only way to get in is by doing domain\username which is even more confusing for our users.
