Mass Email

Yes it is now in a module called Web Wiz NewsPad from www.webwiznewspad.com

It has many advanced features for sending Newsletters to your Web Wiz Forums members, can also be used for displaying News Bulletins in your own website and Web Wiz Forums, and can also work standalone.

NewsPad is also the Web Wiz Forums mass email module. It is much improved over the old mass email module in that it can send emails in batches (eg 50 every 60 minutes), you can also pause the sending at anytime and come back to it at a later time.

One of the biggest improvements to it over the old mass email module is that it has the ability to member the last forum member it send to, so if your browser or server were to cash during the sending process it can start again where it left off.

Statistics are also available to see who has read the email, and if you make the mailout public it also gives stats on who has read it online, and through RSS.

Templates are also available, so you could create one template for forum members and another for your moderators.

There is an awful lot to it, and it is way more sophisticated than the old mass email module, which was rather basic and could only be used on smaller members lists.
