Love to know where you get this from?

There have been many, many posts made throughout the world...
This was one of them.

there are some developers who add to ASP, PHP, etc... like www.geobytes.com.. they added some ServerVariables to ASP... etc

does this mean ASP is open source?

with ASP

<% City=Request.ServerVariables(“HTTP_GEOBYTESCITY”) %>

with PERL

$City=$ENV{HTTP_GEOBYTESCITY};

with PHP4

$City=$_SERVER["HTTP_GEOBYTESCITY"];

with PHP3

$City=$HTTP_SERVER_VARS["HTTP_GEOBYTESCITY"];

For those who talk trash about PHP, lets review the roots of each language...

ASP = Basic
PHP = PERL and C++

ASP is good for Microsoft servers, PHP is good for Unix servers and we all know how much better Microsoft servers are then Unix, hahahaha.

Why hasn't Bruce commented on this topic? I would like to hear his own point of view.

ASP any day for me. The question should be which is better

ASP.Net or PHP

I have just started learning ASP.Net and it is ten times better that PHP. It's just amazing the kind of functions ASP.Net offers.
