Definately agree with NO.1 and several others that were just absolutely pointless.
I think they could have put Gateway period on there, not just one of their PC's. Oh do I hate them.

I would have to agree with most of them, but I would move IE further up the list.

Although I did like zip drives in there day, I don't think I could have go to Uni without them to transfer around files. I still have one in a cupboard, but I've not used it in about 4 years.

I liked the zip drives as well. Used thm for backups of gobs of data but mostly used them the same way I use a pocket usb drive now.

They were slow but priced way below anything that did comparable tasks.

lol i found a zip drive in a store for $2 (used) and i still passed it up... waste of money when you have a DVD-burner :D

But back in 2000 when I couldn't live without a zip file CD Burners cost over $200 and 10 blank CD disks cost $20, DVD burning wasn't around nor were USB  drives.

Now of course things have moved on and zip drives are too expensive and don't have very good capacity.

By the way anyone want to buy an Iomega USB Zip 250? Wink
