yeah, been through that as well.

I contacted Kodak support. Sadly enough they don't support windows 2003 and are not planning on releasing/developing drivers...so I guess I should buy a second pc with windows xp .

Got parts of my old server that I can use...joy...two pc's in my tiny 14 m2 room.

Sometimes u gotta love how these Microsoft OS systems are back wards compatible.

No reason why it shouldn't, try auto installing the drivers and do it yourself if that fails. The xp drivers should work just fine on 2003.

Contrary to a previous comment, multimedia does work with 2003, I have a webcam, camera, TV Card and several usb devices used for music.

All work without conflict.

yes there is a service called "USB mass storage ..." or something like that in windows which is disabled by default in windows 2003 as the windows 2003 guide says that all the unwated or generally unused services r disabled by default to improve performance and reduce risk..

ur camera or any device which is designed to show up as a usb storage in windows will not function until u dont enable this service.. this service should get enabled itself when u plus ur usb camera first time but with certain cams and devices it doest.. strange.. especially if the device is not plug and play and need installation of drivers

windows xp drivers would work ok with win2k3 in most cases but they r assured to work if they r digitally signed by ms for winxp
