You can not force the charge onto the customer as it's against the Terms of Usage. You can up your price to cover PayPal fees, but that price has to be the same as what you charge for cash or checks.

Nope, that still cause for hav ing your account terminated. You can NOT charge more for using PayPal. You can either increase your prices overall payments or eat the charges. It's the same as using a credit card. If you can't take the hit or don't want to raise your prices then don't use the service.

Surely, since you're more likely to sell stuff over the Net if you offer card payment options, it's worth the hit?   And if what you're selling is downloadable, then that's even better.

But, unless you're undercharging, it is the customer who's taking the hit anyway, as I see it.
