how to punish "net send" spammers.

the problem with those net send msgs is that they dont go away even after a reboot.. and i think if u send them to a username instead to a computer name.. the msgs is stored on serve if the user is not logged into any machine and r delivered to the user once he log in from any terminal

it is a real pain in the ass when net send spammers hit you... especially if there are as smart of some of you people... i'd be clicking OK for weeks

Why not just use a firewall and block that port?

Like I said, is not necessary, just stop the Messenger service, which will be done automatically with xp SP2. There are better methods out there for Network Notification then the messenger service.
