The server you are running the script on may not have ASPmail installed.

I don't think that's the answer to your problem but are you running your own server? if not you got to use your webhost's smtp... your ISP's smtp won't rely emails unless it comes from their IP range.... but I don't even think that would cause an error, i guess the email will just get lost in cyberspace, mostlikely your problem is what Bliss said.

You may also have a corrupted file as line 123 of that file should be a comment. Try reuploading.

If you can use CDONTS as this is the most reliable of the components or CDOSYS as this is part of the Windows 2000/2003 operating system.

I have a similar error to do with CDONTS. However, I know that my server does have CDONTS 1.2 and CDO Newmessage active...

error '80070003'

The system cannot find the path specified.

/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 183

According to when I'm looking through, line 183 is....

   .Importance = 1

    'Send the e-mail
Line 183 ---->    .Send
   End With

   'Close the server mail object
   Set objCDOMail = Nothing
