use land phone.. btw how much u want to talk that cell phones have started to feel expensive..here it is

0.40 saudi riyals a minutes which converts to

0.1067 US Dollar

- or -

0.0589 British pound

and prepaid is

0.3200 US dollar

- or -

0.1769 British Pound

and those rates are constant for calling nation wide fixed land line or cellular

We get ripped off here in the UK.  Mobile phone companies were recently done by trading standards and had to lower their rates because they charged 50p per minute when it only cost them 5p.

Those bastages---you mean they were making a profit to provide you with a luxury item? How dare they do that....oh wait...they are a business that is supposed ot make a profit. I'll hush now.

It looks like you pay 3 times more if you pre-pay. Why would anyone do that?

Xeerex, of course they need to make profits, but theres a point when profit margins become exploitative.

i got used to the system here in the us, having a fixed amount of minutes for a certain price, thus overage can become expensive. I have 1200 anytime minutes and free nights and weekends and pay $40 a month, that is not too bad if you talk a lot, back in europe I ended up always paying more than that because minutes kept adding up.
