The clients have uploaded tons of stuff into the uploads directory and I'm trying to keep it all.

I see that I'll have to reconfigure the database connection info, but maybe it's worth a try.

Seriously, if you are unsure about what you are doing, open a support ticket and wait for Bruce to give a hand. It would be awful if you lost something so important, but I'm pretty sure the uploads directory is not one that you should overwrite as you will definetly lose anything within it

Well, oddly enough, it's (pretty much) all working now.

I did open a support ticket, but I didn't wait. (My forum members get antsy and start emailing me.)

If it happens again you can try forcing Web Wiz Forums to reload configuration data by typing in the following:-

default.asp?reload=1

If it is a server issue as this looks with configuration data being loaded this should fix the problem straight away rather than waiting for the servers app pool to recycle
