Hi

For a week now I have this problem.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'

The log file for database '****' is full. Back up the transaction log for the database to free up some log space.

/forum/common.asp, line 424

The thing is that my coder doesn't know how to fix it. He somehow shrinks this transaction log, and he did it so that when somebody visits my site it automatically shrinks itself.
I have my site and the forum on the same SQL database...

Please help me solve this problem! Coz I can't take this anymore!
I have a gaming portal, and I can't afford the forum being down like this almost every day!

Use this script to shrink the log file:

Log File Shrinker

You need to run it on the query analizer and you need dbo rights, if you can't then you need to contact your host I guess...

If I turn the log file off, what will I miss, what errors might appear?

Why is this log file used? And what will happen if I turn it off?
