This is the problem with Access which is why it carries a warning on the download page, because it's a desktop database it's not very good with web sites.

You may need to start again if you can't fix the database, this time use a proper database like the mySQL or SQL Server version as this would not happen with them.

Problem only occours when creating a new thread. An answer in an thread is working fine!

mySQL or SQL Server would be used, if provider supports it ...

would it help to delete all indexes?

Did you actually download the database and run a compact and repair on it?

Yes - but it didn't help!

edit: is there a chance to download a empty database and insert the old records?

There isn't sorry.

This is the problem with running Access if the database becomes corrupted and you can't recover it you lose the lot.

You may be able to copy across the members table through, but if you are going to keep running Access there will always be the danger of it happening again.

What does the error mean? How can this error occours?
Is it because of indexes? is it by database design?

Problem was found!

There was a topic in the database with start ID "0" and end ID "0". I deleted the entry and now everything is working.

edit: thanks for helping and investing your time!
