2 forum on 1 server problem?

when you say on the same server do you mean on the same domain?

because the forums need to be in their own application pool.

or if you want both in the same pool you have to turn off application veriables within one of the forums, this is done within the common.asp file.

but this also means you can't have the active users within one forum and the performance within that forum will also be slightly less as it has to call the database everytime for configuration details.

the only sollutiopn is to either set them in different applicaton pools or adding one forum into a seperate sub domain, which will put it in its own application pool.
