I've never heard of Aruba and I am discusted at their attitude and would recommend that you change host immediately.

Web Wiz Forums is used on many large hacking sites as it is regarded as one of the most secure forum packages you can get.

Compared with other forums only a handful of vounerabilities have been found in Web Wiz Forums, and none that would be a security hole to the server so wouldn't be a problem for web hosts.

Any vounerabilities that have been found have been fixed and a new version released with 12 hours of being reported. This is much faster then any other software.

As long as you follow the install intructions on securing your Access database and have the latest version installed then you will not have any problems.

Also, did Aruba, tell you what file and what the issue is?

not to sure why that one is an issue,

that just shows and error message, not db connections or form posting.

might be worth asking what they have found to be the issue with that page, ie how it poses a threat.

Now I remember this from many years ago.

Back with version 6 Web Wiz Forums did use allot of server resources, as it created a new recordset object for every database query, and only had an MS Access version as a result Aruba decided that it was no good for it's servers.

Anyway, since then about 2 years ago now, Web Wiz Forums version 7 came out with a complete re-write of the forum engine and as such now increase performance and uses less server resources.

Also there is now an SQL server version, as Access is a flat file many hosts don't like it.

Maybe you ought to ask Aruba to re-look at Web Wiz Forums and update it's policy, allowing at the very least the SQL Server version on it's servers.

If not then I'd look for a new host as by going by the list, Aruba don't allow any type of application/scripting on their severs above a basic email form. This then usually indicates a bad host as they are trying to lessen the load of their servers, so they can cram more sites on them.
