	IE 8 is even more buggy. The only reason why I am using it is for testing. I would stick with using Firefox. Most of Web Wiz Forums works fine in IE 8 RC1, except for a bug in IE 8 which means that the search drop downs are not rendering correctly. The text box is still there is you type try and type in it, it's just not displayed.

	This issue with IE8 has been fixed with the full release of IE8. So far there are no issues with IE8 support in 9.56

	I also see it in IE 7 - any way to disable the focus for IE?

	Never heard of this issue before with IE7 and no focus is set so it should not happen. However, are you sure you are not getting confused? as when you create a new post an anchor link is used to take you directly to the new post you have just created which would generally be just above the quick reply box.

	Yes, the issue was resolved with full release of IE8, have never seen this issue on any other version or other browser (firefox, safari, chrome, opera)
