I am trying to setup my forum like this form is.  with a header table at 990 pixels  below that I want 2 cells one at 80% this will be the forum cell and another one at 20%  this will be a Ad colum.  then another cell below that that will be the footer.

I was thinking the best way to do this was with iframes.  If no than what is?

Do you mean iFrames for each cell?

I can only assume that you wish to share the header with the rest of your site?

If so, why not just use ASP Includes?

Also FYI, I've seen Bruce mention many times that frames mess with the forum, from what I remember the cookies.

No, I don't want it for each cell just the forum cell.  Here is a pic of how I want to setup the forum.

If I used include would I just create this template page and call it start.asp

then change the index.asp to point to the start.asp?  then just put a include default.asp in the forum cell?

I don't wish to particularly muck up my own forum, but the principle is shown here: Link
In my case the forum is quite modified but the banners could be down the right hand side, with no navigation to the left. Just so you can see, I have for now just left a text that says Banners here
