Well, check the Hardware you have and go online to see if 64bit drivers are available before buying... I am not sure if the Vista Hardware Compability checker can verify 64bit compliance...

I did when I had the BETA version of Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Most hardware components I had did not have any 64-bit driver for them on the vendor's website... I can't live without my SoundCard.

cool. Home Premium is pretty much enough anyway as long as you don't want to connect to a Domain and don't need the oh so useful Ultimate additions (pun)

Joining an Active Directory Domain. You can only do that with Business and up.
