Well you guys aren't helping my "old age complex" here.

I'll tell you, in my 'day and age'.. I grew up fast, left home at 18, supported myself on a secretary job.  And THAT was an accomplishment for my era.  Now I see some that are in 'business' at 12 & 15.. gee..at 12 I was still climbing trees and riding dirt bikes.

Ok.. I know there is SOMEONE here who has GOT to be at least my age.. or perhaps I am the only "smart oldie" there is that is willing to learn something new at this age?

Gee.. I am starting to feel like the MOM of the forum here..

Oh.. and to "THE BOSS"  you said you started earning $$ at 15.. so was that just a couple years ago??

and KCWebMonkey ~ ROFL .. that was too funny.. cause I STILL don't 'get' that picture!  I look and look.. and it makes NO SINCE TO ME.. so yes.. it was a bit funny to see BoRgs pic.  but I have to ask.. you must have been here awhile as you are now a bonified SENIOR member with 490 posts to your name.. was today the first day you have seen that picture??   am I the only one that was curious about this stuff??  guess that might just come with my old age?!

whittibo, I'm not sure, but I don't think that picture has always been on the "About Us" page...if it has, then I guess I just forgot

As far as the bonified senior thing, I think when bruce switched the forum over to version 7 he gave most of the active members "senior member" status.

and michael, I aint too far behind ya! But always remember this: No matter how old you get...I'm younger than you!

It looks like I AM the oldest here.    Just don't start calling me MA'M ok!

Well.. at least it appears that I am in good company here.  And heck.. what 'old lady' wouldn't want to be surounded by super intelligent young(er) men, that have jobs no less..  OH.. and credit cards and check books..

Ok.. here's where you young hansome men can cure my old lady complex.. by telling me that THIS..

does NOT look like an OLD LADY..

(hey.. if BoRg can show his pic.. then so can I.. besides, I am hoping all your moms have taught you manors and how to give a lady a compliment..)

No you don't look old at all. I would say not a day over 24...buts thats just me.

To me it is a blessing to have someone of your age group take an interest in trying to understand different computer technologies. It really upsets me when I am at work and I go to help someone and they proceed to tell me computers are stupid, its like, thanks for telling me the thing I have invested my life in and am going to school for is just something stupid and frivolous.

So whittibo I appluad you, you are doing more then a lot of people I know who are 35 or even a bit younger.

I'm a wannabe programmer that knows how to do nothing but create invalid procedure arguments.

I'm not that far behind you - 32 !!!

Anyway, age doesn't matter too much. You're as old as you feel. Thing is some days I feel like a big kid and others an old fart !!!
