whittibo, you have inflicted the right punch here. I am 34 and half, with no bank balance, no job or social security etc etc. And obviously, it has to do with the kind of equation that one develops with the environment. Having lived peacefully, I never ever had a feeling about my own age. Yet, the girl next door is compelling me these days, to rethink about this whole matter. She has recently turned up to be 20 and has begun conveying a great keenness for my presence. The empty coffers however, often force me to go down in to an introspection and then feel the extent of baldness that my scalp had developed! One has to complement though, about the whiz kids in the WWG forum here. Their depth of knowledge and involvement often inspires the novice web designer of my kind.

    Oh Proaudience.. you really should be a writer instead of a "novice web designer".. haven't seen your sites.. but boy.. that post was very deep!  You could write romace novels based on your life.. and this 20 year old girl next door!!   bet that bank account wouldn't have a zero balance for long!!

Finally, when I joined WWG as a member around an year ago, it was surprising to find very few females being part of the discussions here. The things have obviously changed as one can see you calling the shots in this particular thread!

When I was working at BellSouth, I went to retirement party for a co-worker.  When asked if he had any words of wisdom for us "youngsters", his reply was priceless as usual.

"When I was 20, I worried about what everyone was thinking about me.  When I was 40, I didn't give a d about what people thought about me.  Then I turned sixty and found out that all of those years...  no one was thinking about me.  "

You all are so sweet!  first of all.. I dont have a clue why you would want me around more since I don't have muct to contribute.. secondly.. a BABE!!  WHEW.. I hope you mean like "GOOD LOOKING BABE" and not just BABE, as in BABY.    What a wonderful compliment either way!

now.. to go back to proaudience ~ I took a look at your site, and read the story of your neighbor!  I am impressed!  you are a wonderful writer.  I could never write anything that intresting as to keep someones attention! (my stuff sounds more like.. blah, blah, blah)   but Kudos to you!     and I think it was you who said you look older.. (forgive me if I am wrong about that one) but I saw your picture.. I don't think you look all that old! 

I truely thank you all for indulging in my "am I old" pity party.. this has been a lot of fun.. as well as informative!  how else would we have learned about Pam and her snakes and that MadDog is only 16!!  and heck.. my self esteem just went up about 100%

when i was a child..i wanted to be an grown up of age atleast 16 so i can get a lisence and drive.. when i am 18 now.. i look back at the memories of my school days and wish i can return back.. ahh those.. i remember how we used to annoy teacher.. and candy cake parties.. umm..

and bet when we r married to some trouble some lady.,. when we r single.. and see a fine firm lady.. we wish we would have been married to one like her..

humans r no way satisfied...

finally when we r on death bed. we wish we would have few more years to live and we flood $$ like water on doctors for our falling health and offcouser life..when we r young and feel very depressed or pressurised bcuz of parents or community.. we wish we would have been dead before this moment came...
