pfeh... i prefer too many features to too few... i can ignore extra stuff that i don't use... i can't ignore the fact that i can't do something i'm used to using... like a second mouse button... or wma's...
then again i'm a relatively recent newcomer to the music-obsession world, and lazy to boot, which means all my digi audio is in wma, cos i pretty much used media player cos that was all i had... and i was sure as hell not going to convert my thousands of wma's to mp3s just so i could spend more money to get a hideous hunk of consumer electronics... the wma thing was probably the proverbial straw...
on the plus side, at least with the nano they've provided a non-yuppie-ugly-colored alternative... black... yay for black!

Creative are ok... But they don't support MME...
There are much better cards out there if you're out for killer sound.
But they are also very expensive. Creative have a good price point
& are a safe bet for most people.
But I really hate installing creative hardware... I always end up with
a few BSODs before I can get it running ok. That doesn't make me a
happy camper...

Just a post x-mas update...
The Creative Zen Touch was all I'd hoped it would be Truly a fine piece of engineering.
The Magellan 760 GPS unit made a big hit with my wife. Extremely accurate and easy to use. I made a couple of short trips with it, and the thing is really addictive.

I think BlueFrog said Gates uses a Creative device, not an iPod. Don't know why he wouldn't use some Win Pocket PC with tunes - unless it's not secure enough of course

I forget where I saw that Bill uses a Creative player. Some tech show -
quite rare to get any of those here - maybe it was a news show.
And I'd be worried too about someone hacking my MP3s and changing them
with country music, or worse, the Korean equivalent of country -
bong-jjak and troat! Man... it's really bad...
