Hi Friends,

I am looking for a ASP based forum to use on my site.

One of the important feature which I am looking for is possibility of creating "HTML thread" instead of regular "ASP thread".

To make it clear please see the thread http://www.ozzu.com/ftopic43254.html .If you try to reply this thread than dynamic php page opens and when reply is posted it is processed in the background and its HTML genrated page is visible.

From the SEO point of view this is a very good feature.Although ASP pages are also crawleed by search engines but there is nothing like HTML pages to search engine

Is the same option / feature is there in Web Wiz Forums ? Please comment

The page extension wouldn't matter to the a search engine or a web browser.

You can alter a web server to process .html pages as .asp pages or .php pages, which it looks like the site you mention has done.

Many sites change the web servers setting so that .html, or any other extension is processed as an .asp page so that hackers have a slightly harder time as they can not instantly tell what type of server processing is going on.

If you have access to your web server you could change it to process .html pages as .asp pages, you could then change all the page extensions in web wiz forums to .html extensions.

Don't know where you got this idea, but it's wrong. Extensions don't matter to the serps.
Create a page in html and again in asp. View both in the Lynx text browser. They will be identical and will show you exactly what a search bot sees.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
