We found on our forum tonight that the number of posts listed in the author table is out of sync from the actual number of posts in the thread table. I wrote a quick script to clean it up. Has anyone else experienced this? |

When i have that problem i go in the administration area and i have an option 'Re-Sync Topic and Post Count' to solve that problem. ------------- Best Regards Vitor Ferreira |

| The Re-Sync Topic and Post Count doesn't seem to correct the problem I am describing. I mean, it does now on my forum, because I updated the code to do so, but the 7.9.2 code base does not. |

I think it does, but it takes a while.
If it does it instantly, I'm worried, because I clicked it to resync, then later on post counts had changed dramatically
