i have WinXP Pro and i have wot ever IIS is on that... but i can never write to a Database... i can read from it, just not add or update it! can sumone tell me HOW i do it? thanks |

You need to have write permissions on the directory containing the database. its ok on my server... just when i test it all on my computer locally in IIS it doesnt work! (does now though hopefully now i can test the forum locally 2! |

yeah thanks id never "mess" with my server and i dont do anyfin i *think* will damage my computer (ie "delete") and i was only messin in the IIS comtrol pannel but on my computer windows is in c:\windows\ but if ya ment sumfin else, dunno about it as i dont go on C Drive much |
