I emailed my hosting company with the 5 suggestions that borg mentioned earlier in this post and they replied..
none of these suggestions seem to fit the configuration in
our environment, and I know that other sites on the same
server are successfully using asp session variables etc.
-I might have to abandon webwiz and go with Snitz forums,
when is 8.2 going to be released? its almost the end of the
month i want to try that on my website

Hey Borg when you say "An ASP file on your site uses
session.abandon"
could it possibly be a separate asp application that i
have installed and one of those asp files may contain the
session.abandon? or does 2 different apps have no effect of
one another??

It sounds like the server is not able to hold the ASP Session.
