email notification for sub-forums

	Is there a way to get an email notification if you have permission to a sub-forum but not permission to the parent forum? Or do you have to have rights to the parent, and any email settings propagate down to the children?

	Permission differ from parent to sub. It does not work like NTFS permissions... it's just the way it is organized. When admins setup a sub forum they have to give it permissions and tell it which groups can access it... so parent permissions are separate.

	What if you've just given an individual member permission to a forum? Since they aren't a member of a group that's assigned to that forum, should they be able to see it in their email notification pulldown list? (I have a user saying she can't set up email notifications to a subforum that I've added her to, where she's not in a group that can access the parent forum).
