I did the upsize from the Access database to SQL 2005 using the Access 2003 upsizing wizard. Are there any guidelines for doing this? All the tables appear to have data in them.

If you could provide a link to your forums it might help
Having read your posts I assume you did install SQL forum software?

No, I asked that in the beginning and was not told to install different software!

OK, I downloaded and unzipped the SQL version of 9.53.
Updated database_connection.asp to match my SQL database settings
Uploaded to my webserver via FTP.
Same results.

Bruce can you help? It's running here: http://66.165.136.37/forum/default.asp

Sorry without digging into your server and installation I wouldn't know.

If you have paid for support then try contacting support through your Client Area account with your website, forum, and SQL Server login details for a technician to be able to have a look for you.

I was able to get it running. Here is what I did:

1. Deleted all the forum tables on my hosted SQL server
2. Upsized my database to my local SQL Express 2005 instance
3. Imported the tables into my main database on my hosting account. (i had to check the option to enable identity creation when importing data)

Note restoring the entire database wasn't an option for me since I have other tables that I don't want overwritten.

Anyway it is now running. Thanks for the assistance.
