ok, when ever i do this "Once all the files are uploaded point your web browser to the location on your web space where you uploaded the forum to" it takes me to a page that is "Index of /forum" and shows a bunch of the asp files, does that mean that i cant run the program, when i put the url of the forums location in the browser should it show me somenthing different other than the index

and do you know of a program that is 1/2 as good as this one that might work, thanks for checking

If your server does not support ASP then there are a number of PHP forums you can use. One of them is at www.phpbb.com try them out..  They use MySQL as well. CHECK WITH YOUR ISP FIRST THAT YOU CAN USE PHP FORUMS
