Thank You for the advice... I probably will be waitting for the final stable version to release.

And then I hope the current version 7.91 which i am using now, can be updated to 8.00 and  can change the server safely too.

I have 2409 active members in my forum which i dont want to loose at any cost.

If you are using 7.91 you should upgrade ASAP to 7.97, the latest satble release.

I'm in the same boat as the individual that you just replied to.  Thank you for the time frame estimate.

I'm unfamiliar with the DB change releases that require scripts to upgrade.  Does the community generally provide those and are scripts established to change over from just about any combination of DB types.  I'll be changing from 7.97 MS SQL to 8.0 MySQL.
