No, IE has a known cookie index bug, when the cookie index becomes corrupted it means that cookies work on some sites but not on others as the cookie index is corrupted relating to certain sites.

The only way to reset the cookie index in IE is to do as I explained in my previous post on the subject.

What you need to do to force IE to reset it's cookie index is first delete all cahed internet files then delete all cookies.

Better still use a faster less buggie better browser like Mozilla Firebird from:-

I too am having this problem.  Unfortunately, the only site that seems to give me trouble is my own!  I can't login to it.  I have spent the better part of the past three days trying to fix it with no success.  I am downloading firebird as I type.  Borg, when you say delete cookies and cached internet files, do you mean simply go to "internet options" in IE, and click the delete cookies and delete files buttons?  Because I have done that a dozen times with no success.  Is there more to it?  Do you have other suggestions?

I figured it out.  I now have IE 6.x and Windows XP working with the webwiz forums.  Talking about something stupid.  Somehow the server date was changes by 2 years!.  So when it tried to right the cookie it was writing one that XP and IE 6 was saying was already expired! Reset the date on the server and WHAM it worked.
